Cancellation Policy

A Customer may cancel a confirmed booking by providing notice in writing to The Picnic Collective prior to the scheduled Hire Period.

Perishable Goods

Perishable goods refer to any food, beverages, fresh flowers, or other items that cannot be reused, resold, or repurposed due to their nature or shelf life. These items are prepared or sourced specifically for each booking and incur costs that are non-refundable and non-transferable once ordered or prepared.

Cancellations

  • More than 48 hours' notice
    If cancellation notice is received more than 48 hours prior to the Hire Period, the Customer will receive a credit for the full amount of the Hire Charges, excluding the cost of any perishable goods, to be used towards a future booking.

  • Between 48 and 24 hours' notice
    If cancellation notice is received between 48 and 24 hours prior to the Hire Period, the Customer will receive a partial credit of the Hire Charges, excluding perishable goods, to be applied to a future booking. The amount of credit provided will be determined based on any unrecoverable costs already incurred.

  • Less than 24 hours' notice
    If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, the full amount of the Hire Charges is payable, and no credit will be issued.

Weather & Other Circumstances

The Picnic Collective reserves the right to reschedule a picnic due to severe weather or other extenuating circumstances to ensure the best possible experience. Customers will be notified at least 24 hours prior to their original Hire Time and offered the option to rebook.
